After School Care

Our Before and After School Care provider is Catholic Care. Supervision is provided onsite 7am – 8:45am and 3:05pm – 6pm.

Bus Travel – 682n

We have an afternoon bus service for students going home. It departs Johnson Street at 3:13pm and goes in the direction of North Curl Curl.

Canteen

Our school canteen is currently open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is run by paid employees. The canteen menu and payment can be found on the Qkr app. Please see below for more information about the app.

Compass Parent App

We use the Compass App for all communications to parents. All parents will receive a unique username and login when your child starts at SJB.
On Compass you will find attendance information, school academic reports, parent calendar and a newsfeed with current events and information.

Extended Leave Form

Please complete this form for any absences of 10 consecutive school days or more. It should be submitted to the school office before the leave is taken.

Extra Curricular Activities

We have a range of optional extra curricular activities available for students to participate in. These are run in class time, once per week and booked through our external service providers. Please follow the link below:

Uniforms

Please see below for a list of uniform requirements for summer and winter as well as where to purchase. We also have a second-hand sustainable shop with all items priced at $5.00. Ask the school office for more information.

All brand new items can be bought online from Cowan and Lewis. All items will be delivered to the school office and sent home with your child. Please got to: Cowan and Lewis website to see the selection and make your order.

Uniform Change – 2022

After many months of consultation, we are finally able to announce the rollover to Cowan and Lewis as our new uniform supplier.

Roll Out

This will be a very slow process. All current students can wear the current uniform for as long as they desire, or until appropriate sizes run out. Therefore, hand me downs, secondhand stock and stock bought back from suppliers can be accessed and worn, until sizes run out.  SJB Uniform Requirements (pre changeover)

All Kindergarten students (2023) and new enrolments from 2023 will be required to purchase and wear the updated St John the Baptist uniform.

Adjustments

  • Short Sleeve Shirt only no long-sleeved shirt

  • Culottes- can be worn with socks or tights to cover all seasons
