Introduction

At St John the Baptist, the parent body has a strong sense of community and is always ready to support the school and various initiatives.

St John the Baptist school is welcoming, inclusive, helpful, friendly, and a highly supportive community, with an extensive parent network and regular social events for parents and students.

The school highly values parents as the first and continuous educators of their children. Therefore, the school takes great pride in developing and promoting strong positive relationships between parents and the school in order to achieve, optimal learning in your children’s holistic education. This is achieved through; a high and consistent level of communication, Open Classrooms, Parent Education Sessions throughout the year, parental involvement in school and class activities and the availability of staff and the Principal to parents.

Many parents are actively involved in the school through volunteering in various roles and activities such as; canteen, helping in the classroom, sporting events, Library, class excursions and P&F events.
