CODING

This STEM focused program is for Year 2 to Year 6 students, who will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by learning to code.

Registration for Term 1, 2026 is now open – click here for details. Classes take place every Tuesday from 7.40am – 8.40am, from 3 February to 31 March (9 weeks). Cost is $261 per student per term, and laptops are provided by CODE4FUN.
CHESS

It doesn’t matter if you’re a new beginner or a chess champion, everyone is welcome to join the Chess Club! It’s a fun playing and learning club with friends and takes place at school on Mondays from 1-1:40pm in the Library.

DANCE
- Dance classes at SJB Freshie are a lot of fun, while encouraging improved fitness, flexibility and coordination. Classes take places during recess or lunch on Mondays, and are open to all ages.

GUITAR
- Guitar lessons are held before school on Tuesday mornings in a fun, interactive small group. You can bring your own guitar or hire one, and the cost is $25/class.
